With the help of his kingdom’s gold, Marcus Aurelius has successfully enrolled at Holtzclaw Academy. He soon makes friends with a scholar mage, a merchant mage, and a princess battle mage. But being a wealthy newcomer from a far off kingdom also puts a target on Marcus’s back.
As he adjusts to life at the academy, he’ll have to deal with a thief, fellow students jealous of his abilities, and rumors of a dark mage hiding in plain sight. Then there’s the battle mage Princess Moriah who becomes life-bound to Marcus, against both of their wills.
